Joe Lizura, pictured on the left, is President and CEO of The Allowance Media Group. Joe Lizura is an award winning Executive Producer whose productions have won 7 Communicator Awards, a Hugo Award, a Dove Family Approved Seal, and is the recipient of Creative Child Magazine’s 2010 DVD of the year and 2010 CD of the year.
Joe Lizura has more than 27 years in the television industry, including 17 years with NBC. Joe’s recent creations include the Children’s television series “Dos y Dos” now being seen on ¡Sorpresa! in the United States,Telemundo in Puerto Rico, ATB in Bolivia, Panamericana TV in Peru, and beginning in the Fall, on Ecuavisa in Ecuador.
Joe’s recent endeavors include the founding of The Allowance Media Group, The Latin American Multimedia Corporation and The Jumpitz Corporation.
Joe Lizura has co-written and produced more than 30 half-hour Children’s shows, more than 100 Children’s music videos, and has co-written lyrics on more than 100 songs. Joe serves as a voting member of the Recording Academy for the Grammy Awards, and is also a past Governor on the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Pacific Southwest Chapter.
Joe Lizura is actively involved in support of charitable organizations, having helped raise millions of dollars for children's charities such as Muscular Dystrophy, Rady's Children's Hospital, and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Senior Vice President of Development
As Senior Vice President of Development, Paul Ferreira joins Allowance Media as an entertainment veteran, whose work behind the camera as both a Director and Operator includes performances with such iconic names as Pavarotti, Santana, Elton John, John Mayer, Phil Collins, and most recently, Justin Beiber.
Paul’s work on the national scene includes directing such shows as Meet The Press with Tim Russert at the Republican National Convention, Jim Rome is Burning at the Breeders Cup, and the World Baseball Classic.
Paul has also been recruited for numerous corporate events, such as the recent AFLAC Annual Meeting with Kirk Cameron, James Carville, Mary Matalin and Earth, Wind and Fire.
Some of Paul’s other accomplishments include 16 years with NBC where he won many awards including 2 Emmys for Best Director. Throughout his time with NBC, and the years which have followed, Paul became instrumental in bringing numerous shows from concept to creation in many areas such as Children’s shows, Live Shows, Reality Shows, and Documentaries.
In 2010, Paul was brought on to stage and direct Qualcomm’s 25th Anniversary Celebration for its more than 10,000 employees with surprise special guest, Dave Matthews Band.

Executive Vice President, Production & Administration
Joseph Dionisio joins Allowance Media as a company co-founder, and Executive Vice President of Production and Administration. Joseph has been strategic in the development of virtually all aspects of the company and its productions. Trained and educated in Theatre, Joseph brings a unique aspect to the design of children’s shows, understanding the dedication needed to bring a show from concept to creation.
Joseph has co-written 28 episodes of the award winning preschool show Dos y Dos, and has been instrumental with the world launch of that show in Puerto Rico, Bolivia, Peru, the United States, and soon Ecuador.
Joseph’s credits include a recurring role as “Foto Joe” on the Dos y Dos television series, and previously as the character “Michael” on the original Jumpitz children’s DVD series. As production manager for The Latin American Multimedia Corporation, Joseph was responsible for coordinating and executing the production of each episode.

Richard Doutre Jones
Director of Show Development
Richard brings to the Allowance Media Group extensive experience in the analysis of broadcast properties and their financials. As a former General Manager of television stations in both San Diego and San Francisco, Richard brings more than 30 years of television and media experience to our company.
Along with serving on the UPN, CW, and FOX Board of Governors, Richard has been a pioneer in creating multiple innovative revenue streams. Richard has a diverse background in sales, marketing, internet, and mobile strategies, and also has a strong background in market research, sales, and promotion.
Richard is a past member of the board of directors of LifeVantage, and he was instrumental in developing the sales strategy which helped transform the company revenue from $1 million annually to more the $120 million.
Richard and his productions have won numerous awards including the Edward R. Murrow Award, Golden Globes, and numerous Emmy Awards. In addition to his understanding of the television industry, Richard has brought several shows to air, including "Sam the Cooking Guy" (more than 120 episodes), "San Diego Living", and "Couch Potato".
Director of Artistic Design
Ashley Bruce joins Allowance Media as the Director of Artistic Design. Ashley’s professional career began as dresser for the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego and has grown to include set costumer for shows aired on the CW.
Ashley is also a wardrobe stylist and prop assistant on numerous commercials for companies such as Callaway Golf, Ford, and Disney. Ashley has worked on live shows for artists such as Kenny Loggins and Christina Aguilera, Aerosmith, Kiss and the Eagles. Ashley’s most recent work includes Production and Costume designer on Dos y Dos.
Susan Scharpf is the Director of Artistic Development for the Allowance Media Group. She is responsible for designing and creating the artwork, scenic elements and props, as well as working closely with the creative team of Allowance Media to develop show-related merchandise. Susan is also a set designer and designs regularly for Native Voices, the nation’s premier Native American theatre company.
Susan participates regularly in playwright retreats for Native Voices, acting as the set design advisor during the development of new plays.
Susan’s vast experience includes being the Charge Scenic Artist for San Diego State University, and has taught Set Design and Scenic Painting. Her development experience includes developing a new children’s show with the La Jolla Playhouse as well as the Children’s television series Dos y Dos.
Director of Operations and Communication
As Director of Operations and Communication, Ron Sharek brings more than 18 years of Results-Oriented expertise in Video and Television Production. Ron specializes in operations for television, having worked with both the San Diego Padres and the San Diego Chargers for almost two decades.
Ron also brings to Allowance media, extensive experience in community affairs, project management and promotions. Ron’s reputation for promotion and public relations have earned him a reputation that Allowance media will rely upon for cost effective execution.
Ron's position as Director of Operations and Communication means that he will oversee the day to day direction of each of the company's television show pilots. Look for Ron to be found on-scene as well as in our studios.
